Deepen your understanding of the science of yoga

ISHTA means “that which resonates with the individual spirit” and is also an acronym for the “Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda”

ISHTA yoga aims to give each student an understanding of how to incorporate aspects from various yoga styles and practices in a way that best suits their individual paths and needs.

ABOUT THE TRAINING

In this profound training we focus more on the personal growth of each student. That each and everyone attains more tools in order to find a way of yoga in order to suit the individuals needs. This training is broad and deep, scientific, spiritual beyond religion, modern but with deep roots in the yoga tradition. With this training you can teach flowing classes, classical hatha yoga classes, meditation, pranayama, slow flow/Restorative classes, philosophy and relaxation classes.

The ISHTA yoga practice
The physical asana practice has roots from Iyengar yoga in terms of alignment, flow with breath like the more Ashtanga/Vinyasa styles, kriyas (visualization) from the tantra tradition, meditation and breathing exercises. The practice also stems from Ayurveda; that yoga should be about self balancing, inquiry and investigation rather than feeding what an unbalanced mind usually dictates. We focus on bringing ourselves more towards a state of equilibrium; Sattva. Only in that state will be be able to really feel who we are and what we need.

Our Teachers
Our beloved teacher trainers has got extensive experience from many styles of yogar. This means that the ISHTA yoga teacher training program attracts some of the best in their field in the world today. On each module there is a Yogiraj (Yoga Master) as the head teacher overseeing the theory and practice as well as performing all the lectures and then also you will meet our senior teachers and some of our junior teachers.

All of the teachers in this training has been certified to teach ISHTA by the founder of ISHTA; Kavi Yogiraj/ Yoga Master Alan Finger, who is one of todays leading masters in Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda and together with some of Indias most prominent masters, he and his father built the ISHTA yoga system.
